Humanities Institute Fund
The Humanities Institute serves as a bridge between the division of Arts, Humanities, and Social Science and the people of Colorado. Through the lecture series and events, they promote intercultural understanding to Colorado’s multiple and diverse communities. The Institute provides a public forum for local and national speakers on current issues in the form of Faculty Lectures and Salons.

Newman Center for Performing Arts Marketing Fund
The Newman Center is proud to be among the greatest patrons and presenters of the performing arts in the United States. Our goal is to provide opportunities for you to experience the great diversity of the performing arts and the diversity of expressions of the human experience, especially from acclaimed artists who have not otherwise had the opportunity to share their art with Denver. With this fund, we will be able to enrich and expand the performing arts in Denver through the support of generous donors and sponsors who believe in our mission.
Newman Center for Performing Arts Operations & Program Fund
The Newman Center is operated for the benefit of both community and campus. At the end of our present season we will have represented 48 different performers, in more than nine performing art disciplines, which include 28 reginal Colorado or Denver premieres. Our ability to continue to enrich and expand the performing arts in Denver depends on the support of generous donors and sponsors who believe in our mission. Please help us continue providing excellence in cultural and artistic opportunities and experiences for students and citizens of all ages by making a tax-deductible gift. Breck Memorial Lecture Hall Fund
Established in 2000, in memory of Allen D. Breck, by family and friends, this fund was created to raise funds to name a lecture hall after Dr. Breck.
Daniel L. Ritchie Endowed Scholarship for Performance Arts
Established in 2002 by Robert and Judi Newman, and supported by friends of Chancellor Emeritus Daniel L. Ritchie, this endowed scholarship supports undergraduate students majoring in the performing arts.
Newman Center for the Performing Arts Endowed Building Fund
An excellent professional environment in which music and theater students learn, practice, and perform, with space for students and faculty, state of the art classrooms and premier concert halls, the Bob & Judi Newman Center for the Performing Arts operates to benefit both community and campus. Only a fraction of the costs of our operations are covered by ticket sales. Our ability to continue to enrich and expand the performing arts in Denver, and to be a world-class presenter of the best touring, and performing artists from many disciplines, depends on the support of generous donors and sponsors who believe in our mission.
Peter and Cathy Ridder Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2009 by Peter B. Ridder, BA '69, this endowed scholarship supports undergraduate students majoring in the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at the University. Mr. Ridder enjoyed a career as a leader in the newspaper industry and he retired as the publisher of the Charlotte Observer.
Institute for Public Policy Scholarship Fund
The Public Policy Scholarship Fund helps support students studying public policy at the University of Denver's Institute for Public Policy Studies (IPPS). IPPS is committed to the development of tomorrow's policy leaders through an innovative, analytical core curriculum that emphasizes cost-effective, market-based alternatives to contemporary issues. IPPS comprises the Undergraduate Program in Public Policy (major and minor in public policy), the Graduate Program in Public Policy (Master of Public Policy, MPP) and the Center for Public Policy and Contemporary Issues.
